The Inline Chilling Skid continuously chills 200 gallons of ethanol supplying 60 gallons per hour of -40°C solvent to fe ed into the AES for extraction. It consists of 2 tanks; a 200 g allon insulated holding tank where ethanol is stored prior to entering the AES, and a 90-gallon recirculation tank which holds the discharged ethanol while the operator removes and refills material bags
The EFR is the only closed loop all-in-one solution on the market. This platform encompasses extraction, filtration, and recovery. We use a batch style centrifugal extraction process, 3 stage filtration down to .5 micron, and rising film technology recovery.
The Alcohol Extraction Skid is designed to separate cannabinoids from the rest of the plant material (biomass) using -40° C food grade ethanol to strip off the desired compounds from the plant material. This process creates a “Wash” solution of cannabinoid content and alcohol. Extracting at a cold temperature eliminates the need for winterization and prevents undesirable compounds such as lipids, fats, waxes, and chlorophyll from being extracted from the biomass in the initial stages of the proces
The Solvent Recovery Skid takes the heated wash solution from the Heated Filtration Skid and evaporates the ethanol separating it from the cannabinoids. This skid produces crude oil and recovers clean ethanol which can be used again in the extraction process
The Heated Filtration Skid filters the wash solution through a 1um particulate filter and heat exchanger, filtering out any unwanted particulates while heating the solution so it is primed for the Solvent Recovery Skid
The Dual Stage Skid is a continuous feed add on that runs from the outlet pump of the SRS. This system preps crude oil for distillation by degassing, devolatizing, and decarboxylating the crude oil.
